To express the thick fabric texture unique to tweed, build layers of cross-shaped grains using white and gold gel mixed with embossing powder. When drawing 3D embossed lines, the point is to perform flash curing intermittently so the lines don't clump and the grains come alive delicately.
Finish
To maximize the rough and cozy texture of the embossed tweed art, it is recommended to finish with a matte top gel rather than a glossy top gel. When applying matte top gel, cure as if thinly sweeping with the brush so the gel doesn't pool too thickly between the embossed grains.
