Base
Shape the medium round nails symmetrically, and apply a builder base coat to smooth out any surface ridges before curing.
Art
Apply two coats of sheer black syrup gel. Cure and apply a soft matte top coat. Use a non-wipe high-viscosity clear gel to paint a plump, glossy grid check pattern right over the matte base.
Finish
To preserve the texture play between the matte base and the glossy 3D lines, omit a full top overlay and simply wipe the embossed lines to finish.
