Base
After trimming to a neat and clean short square shape suitable for an active ocean trip, apply a highly retentive base gel. Thinly lay 1 coat of clear syrup base to create a canvas where the texture of the burgundy marble can spread with more depth. Cure for 60 seconds without wiping off the uncured gel so the color spreads naturally to prepare for the next step.
Art
Mix deep burgundy, black, and white syrup gels on a brush and roll it undulating over the nail to place a natural marble pattern. Once the marble texture comes alive, use a fine liner brush to draw the intricate and sharp silhouette of a butterfly with black and gold gels. Blending intermittently with clear gel so the butterfly's wings harmonize with the waves of the marble and providing a 3D effect is the expert's skill.
Finish
Perform a light overlay with a soft clear gel so the hand-painted butterfly art and the texture of the marble don't get damaged. Meticulously apply a premium glossy top gel that maximizes transparency to bring out the depth of the marble, and powerfully cure for 2 minutes. Apply plenty of highly moisturizing cuticle oil to the fingertips, which easily get dry in the sea breeze, to finish the procedure moistly and glossily.
