Sharply angle and trim into a long coffin shape that brings out a trendy and bold feel. Create surface scratches to increase gel adhesion, then apply a sticky base gel overall. Apply a thin layer of clear gel or a very light nude tone as a base to help the watercolor pigmentation.
Art
With a thin layer of clear gel applied, take a small amount of low-saturation calm khaki color gel and gently touch with a brush to naturally dye like watercolor. Once the color spreads beautifully, cure, then apply clear gel on the point areas where the watercolor texture deepens and tastefully place small crushed mother-of-pearl and shell pieces sparsely with tweezers. Lightly touch thin gold foil around the mother-of-pearl to further elevate the bohemian mood.
Finish
Proceed with a thick and flat overall overlay by heavily applying high-viscosity builder gel so the sharp edges of the shells don't catch. Feel the surface, and if there are bumpy areas, smoothly trim with filing and dust off. Meticulously apply and cure a top gel boasting brilliant gloss for a perfect finish.
