To prevent the sharp edges of the mother-of-pearl or shell parts from causing daily scratches or scraping the skin, use a thick viscosity clear gel to smoothly and roundly overlay the entire nail surface like porcelain. Wipe off the uncured gel after overlaying, refine the shape once more by sanding, and then apply top gel to complete a brilliant glass bead-like gloss.
